Alternatively car hire can be arranged from the airport. Batemans Bay is only a 15-minute drive from the Ranch and, with a population of over 15,000 people, it is one of the largest towns on the South Coast. It offers shopping plazas, major retail outlets and specialty shops in the town centre. Also close by is the historic town of Mogo, home of the famous Mogo Zoo and a centre for fine arts, antiques and crafts. For more information on the local area please visit our links page. Directions by car: Coming from the north follow the Princes Highway through Batemans Bay and then through Mogo. 3kms south of Mogo turn left off the Highway into Old Mossy Point Road. Follow Old Mossy Point Road to the end, ignoring any turn offs and it leads directly to The Oaks Ranch and Country Club. The last kilometre is unsealed road but suitable for all vehicle types. Please note that many GPS navigation systems do not work accurately in this area. Alternatively if you are coming locally from the coast road, head south from Batemans Bay on George Bass Drive and past the Tomakin service station on your left. Go over the Tomaga river and then take the next right into Estuary Way. At the top bear right into Clearwater Terrace. Follow the road round to the right into Stoney Creek Lane. Continue to the end of the tarmac (it looks like a deadend), and there is a track on the left through the trees into our car park. |
