The Oaks Ranch and Country club, near Batemans Bay, NSW South Coast, Australia

The Oaks Ranch and Country Club stables runs beautiful trail rides as well as pony rides for riders under the age of 9. Horseriding is open to the public as well as our guests, so just give us a call to book.

Our trail rides go out for an hour riding through the 300 acres of the Ranch and take in some beautiful and diverse scenery. You will ride through bush, woodland and along the river banks, getting sandy or wet hooves depending on the tides! You will see lots of wildlife and with no more than 6 riders at a time we can tailor the ride to suit your experience and comfort.

Our pony rides are fully supervised and allow our younger riders to experience a shorter ride around the inner paddock.

For larger group bookings or if you are interested in organising a special ride, please just give us a call. Our bar serves drinks and coffees to all our visitors as well as our guests and BBQ packages can also be pre-arranged.

The scenery around the estate, with its many species of wildlife and the resort facilities available within our Country Club provide for a great day out, even for the non-riders in your group.

Based between Batemans Bay and Moruya we are the closest horseriding stables to many popular tourist destinations such as Broulee, Mogo, Mossy Point and Tomakin. The Oaks Ranch and Country Club horses are well cared for, well behaved and responsive too.

Please note that when booking your ride we will need to know about any previous riding experience as well as your height and weight to match the most suitable mount. On the day of the ride you need to be wearing long pants and covered shoes. We will provide helmets which must be worn by all riders.
